i spent 30000 at this place paid my credit card off.i didnt use it for 2 years.so they never contacted me they just closed my account with no notice.i think that was a rotton thing to do.if they would of called me i would of bought somthing.i will never shop at a kays or jarred store again

I am so upset...I took my wedding ring (LEO Diamond) to the Vernon Hills, IL store to have my two diamonds replaced as they fell out. I was leary about doing this because earlier this year I read about the diamond switching at Kay Jewelers store. I voiced my concerns to the sale associate who reassured me she would draw out every flaw or Mark in my diamond on my receipt and she showed me through their machine what she was looking at. The diamond has fallen out 3 times and the last time they put it back in crooked. All 3 times I went up there they were very rude and one even said to me that if I had not found the diamond they wouldnt have replaced it even though we paid for insurance on the ring.

Kay's closed my account due to inactivity... haha. I have randomly spent over 7K with them in the past. However, I do not allows buy jewelry. This weekend I was looking for a serious purchase (8-10K) for my wife of 25 years. needless to say I will never shop at Kay's again, so they will lose this purchase and any in the future. Was charged finance charges and late fees for custom ring that we never even saw so much as a prototype for. Was repeatedly told that the merchandise was being worked on. Continued to accrue late fees and finance charges even when the order was cancelled after 4 months of waiting to see so much as a mock up. When my now husband and I purchased our wedding rings, an employee of Kay's approached us about purchasing a home and hand us his business card. Now this same employee of Kay's is using his access to the customer's account and is sending emails out to promote his real estate business, especially to newly engaged couples. I purchased a "lifetime battery warranty" on 4/10/15 from the Boynton Beach (FL) Mall store for $21.19. Today I presented my watch for a new battery per the warranty, and I was told the "policy has changed" and they wanted to charge me an additional $60 to send the watch somewhere for battery replacement and seal. Was handed my great grans engagement ring and needed it fixed .My Mam wanted it done for my Birthday and our local jewellers were not helpful. I had a very bad experience with Kay jewellery store in North Conway. The assistant manager refused to help us to fix a ring that I purchased and I didn't realize that it hurts due to bad finish on the back. He was very impolite,bad attitude and not professional at all. In any case, the total and absolute absence of giving a solution or any help that I makes me NEVER shop with Kay's ever again. Will make up any excuse to void your warranty on your jewelry. Not my fault the sapphire keeps falling out because you make *** jewelry.
