i received a jayne seymour open heart necklace for valentines day, it was the one with the double chain, 3 months after i got it the chain broke and was so tarnesed it looked cheap. We went back to Kays and the gentlemen behind the counter proceeded to try and clean the chain first and it broke again in his hands, sent it out for repair and wanted to charge us $30.00 for repairs. The sent it away and it came back not soudered correctly and had to send it out again, have had the necklace three days and it broke again. I asked for a new chain and said they couldnt do that. I wish Jayne Seymour could see how they treat their customers.

I have the Jane Seymour necklace and ring with the black and white diamonds and love it. I have shopped at Kays for years and all my jewelry comes from them, I will not shop anywhere else. I have always had wonderful service and no warranty problems on anything, they have always honored them. If you take care of your jewelry correctly you should have no problems. Kind of hard to tarnish white and yellow gold.

Maybe you should have gotten a warranty and took better care of your jewelry. It doesn't tarnish on it's own, you must have done something. Chemicals maybe?
